The Memory ManagerŪ is an electronic patient data and assessment manager developed for the geriatric population, however, it may be used on any patient. Patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease require ongoing assessment of their memory. The mini-mental status evaluation is featured in this solution.  Since this patient population frequently uses antipsychotic, anxiolytic, and/or cholinesterase inhibitor drug therapy to control undesirable behaviors, the program allows for the tracking and managing of these therapies.  For patients living in the nursing home setting and using cholinesterase inhibitors, the program provides an assessment to determine the efficacy of these drugs using MDS data.  This program can be used in any setting, including inpatient, assisted-living and community settings where using a notebook or portable computer is not convenient.
